Nassau sells the same day out forty different ways.
Pigs, turtles, a reef stop and lunch: almost every boat leaving the harbour promises all four. These reviews say which boat, what it costs, and when the Exuma fly-in earns four times the money.
The six days Nassau is built around.
Nine tours in ten on this site leave from Nassau, and most are one of these six days in a different order. Pick the day first, then pick the boat.
Eighty-six pig boats leave Nassau. The difference is the crossing.
It is not the animals that separate these trips — it is the boat, the run out and how much else the day carries. Rose Island is thirty minutes each way and back by mid-afternoon. Exuma is a powerboat marathon or a light aircraft. The pigs live on those beaches and how close they come is their own business, so book the day you want on the water and take the rest as weather.
What Nassau actually books.

What a Bahamas day costs, from the walking tour up.
Every reviewed tour sorted by its lead price. Read the small print in the middle band — some prices are per person and some are for the whole boat.
Food and history walks through town, the bus loop, a half-day snorkel run, and the transfer in from the airport.
The standard Nassau boat day: pigs, turtles, a reef stop, lunch and a beach club in one ticket.
In Nassau the shallow water is the attraction, not the backdrop.
Sea grass under two metres of water is why the green turtles feed here and why a clear-bottomed kayak photographs the way it does. The drone-photo kayak trips work the same stretch of flats; the snorkel boats run the reef edge further out. Neither one wants you feeding or handling what you find.
The cays Nassau keeps a boat running to.
Rose Island, Pearl Island and the Paradise Island side are close enough that the crossing is part of the morning rather than the whole of it. Each sells the same shape of day — a beach, a lunch, a snorkel stop — and the difference is the crowd size and whether the bar is in the price.

Nassau’s old town is a short walk and a long history.
Fourteen walking and bus tours cover the same few streets: Parliament Square, the two forts above the harbour, and the Queen’s Staircase — sixty-six steps cut out of the limestone by enslaved people in the late eighteenth century. Guides who say so are worth the money; guides who point at the steps and move on are not, and the reviews are usually clear about which one you are getting.
Getting off the plane at Lynden Pindling and onto a beach.
Sixty tours here are transfers, because for most arrivals that is the first booking of the trip. Two things set the price: whether the quote is per person or per vehicle, and whether it covers both directions. Neither is obvious from a listing, so the reviews matter more than the headline number.

Grand Bahama and the Exumas, counted properly.
Nine tours in ten here leave from Nassau. These two are the rest of the archipelago as this archive can actually cover it — a real page each, and no pretence that the map is evenly filled.

Freeport and the East End
Grand Bahama is a separate arrival: its own airport, its own cruise berth, and a run of resort day passes rather than a harbour full of tour boats. The trips worth the fare head the other way — mangrove kayaking out at Sweetings Cay, a drift snorkel over the blue hole, a morning cooking Bahamian food at the East End.

Exuma, by powerboat or by plane
The Exuma cays sit about 130km from Nassau, which is why these trips split so cleanly. The powerboat is a full day and a hard ride in any wind. The fly-in costs several times more and hands back the afternoon. Both finish at the same sandbars and the same beach; what you are buying is the four hours in between.
